Pro Shop

The Pro Shop at Blackwood Golf Club is often a hive of activity. It is the first port of call for members and visitors. The friendly staff are always ready to assist and offer advice on all golfing needs and matters. Book a game or a cart. Hire clubs or enter a comp, the Pro Shop staff can help out.

Matt Dent – Head Professional

Matt has been at Blackwood for over 20 years and is now the Club’s longest serving golf Professional.
As well as possessing excellent teaching ability, Matt’s special area of interest is supporting charities and raising funds through golf days. He has run numerous highly successful charity days for CANTEEN . “Many thanks to all our great sponsors, who have supported the days on a regular basis. Many thanks also to the golfers who have participated.”

Troy Lane – Teaching Professional

Troy Lane is 5 times SA Teacher of the Year. He has a wealth of expertise, experience and knowledge of the game. Over the years, Troy has instructed many fine Tour Professionals. With his friendly manner and genial demeanor, Troy has assisted many players to improve their strokes and therefore their overall game.
