Another tight tee shot and sharp dogleg left to right 220m from the tee. The long hitters will be tempted to slide a drive around the corner but finding the fairway at the apex of the corner must be the priority and again a 3 wood or hybrid to avoid driving through the corner sets up a stress free hole. From the corner the second shot is extremely tight but an iron or hybrid will leave a short pitching wedge or less to a generous green . It’s a good birdie opportunity but par is a must to set-up a good start on the demanding opening 5 holes
Ladies 398m / Par 5
An easy drive to the corner so long hitters may only need a 5 wood (unless you plan to cut the corner) and then hit your second straight up to a well bunkered green.
