Golf is truly an ageless sport. Blackwood Golf Club
encourages young people to be involved with the game and
provides them the opportunity to develop physical skills,
participate in competitions and commence a personal journey of
self discovery in one of the world's most popular participation
sports. Regardless of whether you want to play socially with
friends or hone your skills play at a competitive level
Blackwood offers you the facilities and opportunities to
succeed. At Blackwood you will learn to respect the game of
golf, the course, your playing partners and your fellow club
members and in turn you will earn respect. Blackwood's Junior
Philosophy
It takes more than golf ability to prepare a junior to be an
active club member.
We must provide a meaningful program to cover the rules,
etiquette and tuition in the techniques of the game of golf. We
must offer a competitive program and provide the satisfaction of
belonging to a well conducted sporting organisation. This will
assist players to make sound decisions and promote the values of
honesty and integrity. Our properly organised and supervised
junior program will benefit both the players and the club and
will provided the basis for a successful future in both the
playing and enjoyment of golf. Membership

Clinics are conducted
during school holidays and on some weekends. Tuition is provided by the Club
professional, Matthew Dent and Chris Duke and various Simpson Cup players and
qualified Club members. Clinics are open to members for free and
to non-members for $5.00.

Junior Girls Golf Club
The next Junior Girls After-school Golf Club
will be on Tuesday, 31st August at 4:00pm. All girls
welcome. Clubs provided. $5.00 cost for all girls.
